The current examination in all areas related to BSA compliance is more important than ever for regulators.  CU-ACE performs extensive testing in all areas related to BSA, conformity with NCUA rules and regulations, Anti-Money Laundering, Member ID programs, CTR and SAR process reviews

The Security audit was designed to review the Credit Union's compliance with the following:

bullet Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR’s)
bullet Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
bullet Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
bullet Customer Identification Program (CIP)
bullet Currency Transaction Reports (CTR’s)
bullet OFAC
bullet USA PATRIOT ACT (USA)
bullet Branch Security Issues

OFAC Membership Assessment

Our OFAC membership assessment consists of comparing the credit union's membership lists to current OFAC and NS-PLC lists to ensure regular due diligence and adherence to OFAC laws.

Automated Clearing House (ACH) Audits

The ACH audit is designed pursuant to NACHA operating rules to assist the Credit Union in meeting the annual ACH audit requirement and to complement internal controls in the ACH function.  The CU-ACE staff includes two AAPs (Accredited ACH Professionals).  CU-ACE offers ACH audits for RDFI's (receiving depository financial institutions) and ODFI's (originating depository financial institutions).

Consumer or Mortgage Loan Audits

CU-ACE can provide a thorough review of all compliance issues related to either your consumer or real estate loan portfolio.  A periodic review of your loan portfolios beyond the normal financial audit procedures can provide a great deal of assurance and comfort to management about unforeseen and potentially expensive compliance related issues.

Deposit Account Audits

CU-ACE can perform a focused review on deposit accounts of all types, including an emphasis on transaction account policies, tax-identification numbers, Truth-In-Savings issues, dormant accounts, escheat processes, ACH postings, and control on access to accounts by ATM/Debit cards.

Operational Audits

CU-ACE can perform audits on a wide variety of operational areas including administrative areas, human resources, fraud policies, record retention, marketing and advertising.
